Technician for the CNIO – Lilly Epigenetics Section

Eli Lilly and CNIO are collaborating on the discovery of new epigenetic targets for the development of cancer therapeutics. We are seeking to recruit a temporal Laboratory Technician. The candidate will participate in molecular and cellular studies to elucidate the mechanisms of action of potential targets. Experience in epigenetics, gene expression regulation and molecular and cellular biology is required, as well as basic laboratory techniques including cloning, transfection, cell culture, real time PCR, reporter assays and chromatin immunoprecipitation.

Se Requiere

- University degree in life sciences.
- Recently obtained PhD or several years of laboratory experience.
- Experience in epigenetics and/or gene expression regulation.
- Experience in molecular and cellular biology techniques, including cloning, PCR, real time PCR, isolation of nucleic acids, chromatin immunoprecipitation, western blot, flow cytometry and immunofluorescence.
- Experience in cell culture including transfection, reporter assays, lentiviral and retroviral transduction and generation and characterization of stable cell lines.
- Experience in animal handling and mouse models of cancer is a plus.
- Fluent in English.
