Senior technician/ lab manager position is available at the Brain Metastasis Group.
The position will include responsibilities as lab manager (20% of the time) (ordering common reagents, organize the maintenance of common equipment, organize storage space, maintenance cell line stocks, training new lab members, ...) and as research technician (80% of the time)(specific needs of the research project such as genotyping, cloning, animal non-invasive imaging (bioluminescence), animal sample collection, data analysis, ...) .
Se Requiere
- Advanced Vocational Qualification of Technician in Anatomical Pathology and Cytology.
- At least 5 years of lab manager experience, previous positions as research technician in different laboratories of biomedical research, working experience abroad at highly ranked biomedical research institutions, co-author in at least two publications in the last three years.
- Technical skills:
Cell culture, genotyping, cloning, WB, PCR, RT-PCR, DNA, RNA, Protein extraction and purification, in vivo experiments, immunofluorescence, isolation of primary cell lines, virus infection, fluorescence and confocal microscopy, CO-Ips, protein-protein interaction techniques, data analysis, image analysis, prism, presentations.
- English is mandatory.
- Significant experience in similar positions at competitive research groups will be positively evaluated.
- Significant experience with mouse models will be positively evaluated.
